What is a bareboat charter?

A bareboat charter means that you rent a boat without a crew or a skipper. This means you have to navigate and sail the boat yourself.
Therefore most countries require a sailing license or a proof of previous boating experience to be able to charter a bareboat.
If you do not possess such a license or experience we highly recommend that you hire a skipper to enjoy your holiday of a lifetime.
Our skippers are easy going and able to show you the ropes, adding to the experience. They will also let you take it easy and just unwind whenever you want to.

How to book a skipper? Just use our friendly Search Tool to find the yacht of your dreams. You can add many options, including a skipper, on most yachts.
